Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested
Robbery suspects described as, two male Black adults, one male Hispanic adult and one male Black juvenile, entered the Bank of America at Bouquet Canyon and Seco Canyon Road in Saugus at 11:50am this morning.
While one suspect held a gun pointed at the customers, the other two suspects went behind the counters and stole a large amount of cash. The suspects left in a light blue Toyota Cressida. Witnesses saw the license number and reported it to Sheriff’s Deputies. The vehicle was located by responding deputies abandoned on a nearby street.
Approximately 15 minutes later, deputies saw the suspects in a vehicle traveling on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway in the area of Calgrove Boulevard. A felony traffic stop was conducted and evidence inside the vehicle led deputies to arrest the four occupants for the robbery.
The suspects were booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, where the search for additional evidence is continuing. The names of the suspects are being withheld due to the continuing investigation.
