Congratulations to Shane Vereen from Valencia High School for being selected as our Lockeheed Player of the Week

Nobody's performance personified the Viking blowout of Burroughs in Friday night's Foothill League opener more than that of their sophomore tailback, playing in his first ever varsity league game.
 

Vareen rushed for 108 yards and four touchdowns on just 13 carries, for an average of just over 8.3 per carry. Three of the touchdowns came on short runs in the first half and the third came on a 39-yard run in the third quarter. He added three catches for 38 yards in the 41-0 win.

For his production, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will donate $250.00 to the Valencia Booster Club.
