11th Annual Hoefflin Foundation Fundraiser Attended By 1000!

Close to 1000 guests attend the 11th annual Michael Hoefflin Foundation Gala Dinner and Charity Auction.

"An Evening Under The Stars" was held Saturday evening in Valencia. Organizers of this year's event, featuring a buffet dinner, auction and the music of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy hoped to match last year's receipts of $480,000 to continue helping more than 65 Santa Clarita families whose children suffer from various forms of cancer.

This year, the event was moved to the Mann Biomedical Park to accomodate a growing number businesses and individuals wanting to help the nonprofit organization.

The Foundation is named for Michael Hoefflin who, at the age of 10, lost his four year battle with brain cancer in 1996, is dedicated to pediatric cancer outreach, research and educational programs.
