Mental Health Community Consortium

Date: July 11, 2013 - 12:00 pm
Time: 12:46 pm  to

Hours:  12-2:30pm
Location:  College of the Canyons Valencia campus, Dr. Dianne G. Van Hoot University Center, Room 258

College of the Canyons will be hosting the next Mental Health Community Consortium meeting.

Lunch will be provided by College of the Canyons through a grant funded by the California Community College Student Mental Health Programs (CalMHSA).

We are excited to have a facilitator from the Pacific Institute of Research and Evaluation (PIRE) introduce their trade mark collaboration tool. This tool was designed by PIRE to guide a community in identifying activities to achieve a common goal, identify missing sectors that can contribute to a solution, and leverage expertise and resources. Using the Collaboration Multiplier (see attachment) can help lay the foundation for shared understanding in order to achieve health and safety for all, and to improve community environments equitably.

We also invite you to bring any announcements of events you would like to share and concerns you have that, as a group, we may help resolve.

We believe by connecting as a community, we can improve the quality of mental health services available to people in the Santa Clarita Valley.

To reserve a lunch, please RSVP by July 5th at colleen.reeves@canyons.edu<mailto:colleen.reeves@canyons.edu>
