Enviroscape Presentation for Students

Date: February 13, 2013 - 4:00 pm
Time: 4:50 pm  to

Cost: Free

Location: Oldtown Newhall Library, 24500 Main Street, Newhall

The City will be conducting a presentation at all three libraries over the next several months to educate students about stormwater and what they can do to prevent pollution in the river and our drinking water. The presentation is done using an “enviroscape” model to demonstrate what happens when it rains or we overuse our sprinklers, and the litter and pollutants get washed into the streets, down the storm drain, and end up in our rivers and the ocean.

For questions please contact Laura Jardine with the City’s Environmental Services Division at 661-286-4098
