KHTS – AM 1220
Your Hometown Station
For the first time in 5 years, Santa Clarita is once again being serviced by the local signal of now KHTS-AM 1220. KHTS General Manager Carl Goldman and Afternoon Host Jason Endicott made the inaugural broadcast as the Simi Valley fire crept into Stevenson Ranch on the evening of Tuesday, October 28, 2003.
Serving Santa Clarita during and after emergenices is the legacy of your hometownstation. After the Northridge Earthquake in January 1994, then-KBET served as the “voice of the valley,” providing continuous earthquake aftermath coverage for months thereafter.
KHTS is the only local radio station serving the Santa Clarita Valley. While other signals from other stations from L.A. trickle into the valley, only one broadcasts IN the valley and exclusively FOR the valley — your Hometown Station, KHTS.
Local news, traffic, weather, information, opinions, advertisers, sports… Plus exciting L.A. Kings Hockey, Dodgers Baseball, as well as top adult contemporary hits… There’s something for everyone in Santa Clarita at YOUR Hometown Station.
