"Coping with a Chronic Illness & The Grieving Process" with Guest Speaker, Sandi Atmore.       

Oftentimes, when we hear the word loss or grieving, our minds automatically go to thoughts of losing a loved one or going through a painful divorce. Yet, the diagnosis of and the daily life of living with a Chronic Illness may involve many losses & you actually have suffered the loss of a loved one- Your former self.       
At our monthly meeting you will learn different strategies to Cope with your Chronic Illness. You will learn about the stages of grief & how they apply to Chronic Illness and you will be given the proper tools to start the process of truly healing yourself on the inside.
