First Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival

Details: Sierra Pelona Valley Vintners Association will hold its 1st Annual Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital. Helen Hunt Jackson Returns to Rancho Camulos
Date: Saturday, January 26, 2013 - 1:00pm On January 26, at 1:00, experience Helen Hunt Jackson’s January 1882 visit to Rancho Camulos which inspired her to include this vestige of the Californio lifestyle as one of the settings for her novel Ramona. Re- enactors will engage and delight you as they portray this event which forever changed the peaceful life at Rancho Camulos.
The suggested donation for this event is $10 and includes the regular museum tour if desired.
