March 7, 14 and 21 – four-hour sessions – call for specific times

Child & Family Center will present the area’s first ‘Mental Health First Aid’ Training, similar to ‘First Aid’ and CPR, ‘Mental Health First Aid’ helps those experiencing mental health problems before they can get professional help and support. The 12-hour course, presented in three four-hour sessions March 7, 14 and 21, will improve mental health literacy and  help people to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness.  The fee for the course is $50, which covers the cost of materials for each participant.
