Our 2nd annual, “Art for Jack–Celebrating Children’s Art” event is coming!  Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 3:30p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at High Desert School MPR , 3620 Antelope Woods, Road in Acton.  Admission is only $5. 

This celebration features children’s art workshops, painting and craft workshops, family entertainment, ‘Jack’s Young Artists’-performances of local young artists, art exhibits, auction and a special performance by Center Stage Opera! (Early registration for children’s choir for fall 2014 available at event)

May is brain tumor awareness month.  The leading cause of cancer-related death in children is one of the least funded areas of cancer research.  DIPG, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, is responsible for 80% of pediatric brain tumor deaths annually.  Event proceeds benefit the DIPG research fund at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
