Boy Injured On Disneyland's Roger Rabbit Ride Dies
Injured in 2000, boy never recovered speech, mobility.
Former Canyon Country resident Brandon Zucker, who was
critically injured in 2000 when he was trapped under the Roger Rabbit’s Cartoon
Spin ride in Disneyland, died this morning from undetermined causes.
Zucker, who was 4 years old when the accident occurred, was
found unresponsive in the family’s

An autopsy conducted today was inconclusive as to the cause
The 4-year-old Zucker was riding in the car with his mother,
Victoria, when he leaned down to pick up an item and was swept under the car,
where he remained trapped for 10 minutes. He suffered brain damage and has not
been able to walk or talk since the accident.
The Zucker family settled a lawsuit with The Walt Disney
Company in 2002 for an undisclosed amount to provide for
continuing health care and living expenses. The family moved to
and rehabilitation facility.
