Desalination Treatment Could Cost Santa Clarita Millions

The Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District and the City are actively reducing salt discharged into the Santa Clara River but a Regional Water Board decision may force unnecessary construction of desalination treatment, costing residents and businesses $350 million.

Santa Clarita Park Rededication and Free Swim Event – June 17th

City Parkmobile will be onsite

Saturday, June 17th, from 1 PM to 5 PM, the Saugus Action Committee in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita will rededicate Santa Clarita Park and will present a free swim event. The City sponsored swim event takes place from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
 
The City Parkmobile will be onsite with games and fun for everyone and there will also be Bar-B-Q’s available for personal use in the park. Come and learn about the pilot program ‘Park Watch’ while enjoying an afternoon of Family Fun, Sun and Free Swimming.
