Ross Bacon the Junior RB / DB for the West Ranch Wildcats was named player of the week.  He ran for 121yards in 21 carries and 1 touchdown in the 41 - 22 victory over Pasadena High School .  Bacon has run for over a hundred yards in each of his first three games and is also a major contributor as a defensive back.

McKeon Sounds Off On Ahmadinejad Speech At Columbia University

Columbia allows Iran's leader but not ROTC?

Republican members of the House Armed Services Committee today criticized Columbia University for inviting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak to its students and faculty today on campus.  In denouncing the visit, members of the committee specifically pointed to Iran ’s support for terrorist groups in the Middle East and the fact that the rogue country is supplying insurgents and militia groups in Iraq with deadly weapons that are being used to target American troops.
