Small Brush Fire Contained in Agua Dulce

Fire temporarily closes freeway

ImageFirefighters quickly knocked down a series of suspicious brush fires Saturday afternoon in Agua Dulce.

 

Los Angeles County Fire Captain Mike Brown said that the three fires, which were reported at 1:20 and put out an hour later, started next to the northbound 14 freeway, just south of Agua Dulce Canyon. The fires burned just short of a half-acre of light brush.
