DUI Suspect Damages Gas Station

Man hits multiple gas pumps, causes small fire

ImageDeputies arrested a suspected drunk driver Saturday night on Lyons Avenue.  The man reportedly caused a small fire when he backed his car into a gas pump and then drove forward striking another one at the Unocal 76 Gas Station near Lyons Avenue and Newhall Avenue.

City releases 20th Anniversary history book, for a limited time


Interested community members may now purchase a City of Santa Clarita 20th anniversary history book, "Celebrating 20 Years of Success!". 


The books are professionally printed and bound and include a heavy paper, full color book jacket. The 118-page, limited edition book features a special dedication to the City's founders, as well as hundreds of photographs chronicling the City's first two decades.


Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic Planned At COC

Event is popular, but also good practice for emergencies

Based on the success of last November’s first-ever, stay-in-your-car, roll-down-your-window, roll-up-your-sleeve, get-a-flu-shot and drive off event held at College of the Canyons, local authorities have announced that a similar event will be held at the college on November 16, 2007.  Flu shots will be administered to the public from 10 am to 1 pm.
