Greens Stabbing Victims Identified

Three injured in Thursday morning altercation.



The victims stabbed in a fight that occurred just before 2 a.m. Thursday have been identified.


Lt. Larry Gump of the Santa Clarita Sheriff's station said the injured parties were Brandon McCullough, 24, of Valencia; Chris Cardenas, 24, of Saugus and Brandon Dickens, 23, of Los Angeles. They were involved in a brawl that involved nearly a dozen people around closing time at The Greens, a popular night spot in Valencia.

Early Thursday morning, a fight took place at a Valencia bar called The Greens, on McBean Parkway.

Governor Prepares For Upcoming Storm

Governor Schwarzenegger has directed the state Office of Emergency Services (OES) to prepare for the upcoming weather conditions that pose a serious threat of flooding, particularly in areas where the Southern California wildfires recently burned.  OES is working with state and local officials to pre-position emergency assets, including swift water recue teams, watercraft and California National Guard (CNG) helicopters.  The state has also opened emergency operation centers in Sacramento and Los Alamitos.
