Motorcycle Accident Claims Life Of Local Youth

20 year old Joshua Moreno may have been going too fast.

Yesterday at about 3:20pm, a motorcycle ridden by Joshua Moreno lost control while driving on McBean Parkway toward Cottage Circle.


According to a statement released by the Sheriff’s Department, Moreno ventured onto the center median and was thrown from the motorcycle.


Sheriff's Crash Raises Questions

When Councilman Bob Kellar first passed the scene of the horrific accident between two Sheriff’s patrol cars last Friday, his heart sank. Having been a Los Angeles Police Officer in his first career, he has always been a supporter of those in public service.


Thankfully, the two officers and one youth explorer involved will be ok.


But the accident brings up questions.
