    SCV Food Pantry Announces Volunteer Day with Fieldstone Communities Employees

    The Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry is proud to be the recipient of Fieldstone Communities Employees Volunteer Day 2005.   Twenty employees from Fieldstone Communities spent their volunteer day at the SCV Food Pantry unloading food, sorting food, and cleaning the Pantry.  In addition, the Fieldstone employees conducted their own food drive at their Santa Clarita office and brought the donated food with them at the beginning of their volunteer day.

    Lane Closures for I-5 Carpool Lane Construction – September 19-21

    The California Department of Transportation will close the following lanes, ramps and connectors of the Golden State Freeway (I-5) as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:
     
    MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 THROUGH WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21:
    ·     5 a.m. to 2 p.m. – One lane of northbound I-5 from State Route 210 to
    State Route 14
    ·     9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - One lane of southbound I-5 and the southbound

    A lawsuit has been formally filed against the William S. Hart School District, Superintendent, and Board Members, Tuesday morning.  One item was omitted from the lawsuit due to redundancy.
