    Sponsors and Exhibitors Wanted for Womens Conference at COC

    Looking for ways to foster leadership and make a positive difference in the lives of women in the community?  On April 11, 2006, College of the Canyons will host a women's leadership conference from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the COC campus. Conference project leaders invite individual community leaders and organizations to contribute to this cause by becoming sponsors and exhibitors.

    Pool to Stay Open

    Val Verde Pool in Saugus will extend its operating season thanks to Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.  The pool is located at 30300 Arlington Street in Saugus.

    The pool will be open until Sunday, November 20, 2005.  Some programs being offered include, but not limited to, swim lessons for all ages, recreational swim, adult lap swim, novice swim team for ages 7 to 17.  Val Verde pool provides the community with after school and weekend activities for free or at a minimal cost.

    Mint Canyon Students Returning to Own Campus

    Mint Canyon School is pleased to announce that all students will be returning to the Mint Canyon School campus on Monday, October 17. 
     
    School hours for first through sixth grade students will be 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM with a 1:45 PM dismissal time on Tuesdays only.  Morning kindergarten is from 8:15 AM to 12:05PM.  Afternoon kindergarten is from 10:55 - 2:45.
