    Important Town Hall Meeting

    A very important town hall meeting with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD), in cooperation with the City of Santa Clarita and the College of the Canyons, will be held Tuesday evening, 6:30 til 9pm at the COC Vital Express Center for the Performing Arts, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.    A number of vital topics are to be discussed in relation to the SCV future growth plans.  Your input's needed.  Parking's available at COC's parking lots #5, 6, & 7 on the north side of the center.     West Nile Spreads to Horses; 5 Cases Near SCV, 1 Dead!

    West Nile virus has spread to the horse population, with one animal dead from the disease and four others testing positive within the past week near the Santa Clarita Valley, a spokesman for the California Department of Food and Agriculture said Friday.
