    Buck McKeon Makes Appointment To New Military Rape Review Panel

    Buck McKeon (R-Santa Clarita) has officially announced  his nomination today of Holly O’Grady Cook to the independent panel tasked with reviewing and assessing the military’s investigation, prosecution and adjudication of sexual assault cases. The panel, established by the FY2013 National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013, will convene its first meeting no later than July 1.

    Over the weekend I was enjoying the hot sun with a few friends here in Santa Clarita, when I brought up how excited I was that black and white is the newest trend this spring.

    I began to ramble about how many different ways I could play with this style, when I suddenly noticed their expressions upon their faces. It was definitely a “seriously?” kind of look. I was a little shocked that they hadn’t already heard how quickly black and white fashion was spreading, but they frowned and said “I’m not too thrilled about dull colors in the spring” however it didn’t take long for them to change their minds, one picture from the Misses Dressy blog was enough.

    AMG Associates Of Santa Clarita Awarded $17 Million Contract

    Santa Clarita general contracting firm, AMG Associates was recently awarded a $17 million contract to construct a new school in the Santa Maria-Bonita School District. The project will help meet the needs of Santa Maria's growing student body.

    The West Ranch boys volleyball team saw its amazing season come to an end in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs.

    West Ranch, the undefeated champion of the Foothill League, lost to Orange Lutheran in a three-game sweep.
