Former COC Football Player Troy Nolan Signs With Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Troy Nolan, who played for the College of the Canyons football team, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.

The safety was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2009 and played for the Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears. He had his best season in 2010 when he had 49 tackles and three interceptions for the Texans.

Billy’s Boardshop announced on their Facebook page Saturday that after more than 30 years they will be closing. They are the original boardshop in Santa Clarita and have been located in Newhall since 1979.

SunPower by Green Convergence is the largest local solar installer in the Santa Clarita Valley.

“I’m grateful for the community for putting us in that position,” said Mark Figearo, CEO of Green Convergence.

They are a SunPower branded dealer, as well as a factory dealer. They are the first SunPower Master Dealer in the country. Green Convergence are licensed general, electrical, and roofing contractors.
