    Firefighters declared a 5-acre brush fire in Canyon Country knocked down less than an hour after it was reported, according to Fire Department officials.

    Brush Fire Reported At Bouquet Canyon And Commuter Way

    Officials are responding to reports of a 3-acre fire at Bouquet Canyon Road and Commuter Way, according to Fire Department officials.

     Traffic was temporarily stopped near the scene at Commuter Road and Soledad Canyon  as officials responded to the blaze.

    Access to the scene of the blaze from Golden Oaks Road and Soledad Canyon Road has been restricted.

    Deputies Seek Help In Search For Suspect

    SCV Sheriff’s Station deputies are seeking public assistance in finding the man suspected of assaulting an elderly man on a public city bus.

     

      Bernhardt Darko, a 28 year old male from Valencia, has been identified as the individual who assaulted an elderly victim.
