    A Santa Clarita man led a team of divers on the discovery of a shipwreck more than 70 years old, oceanic officials announced this week.

    Two Men Sought In Pet Store Robbery

    Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station are seeking two suspects in the burglary of a Newhall facility for pets.

    "They went into the veterinary store and stole some stuff," according to Lt. Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, describing the daylight robbery of All Creatures Emergency at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Chestnut. "They didn't mess with anyone or hurt anybody," he added.

    Caltrans Sets Closures For I-5 Improvement Project Through Saturday

    The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) plans to close the lanes, ramps and connector listed below from Monday, Oct. 29 through Saturday, Nov. 3 as part of a $140 million improvement project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV or carpool) lanes and a direct HOV lane connector at the I-5/SR-170 interchange.
