A fire on the right side of the 14-North has broken out, right where the 5/14 Interchange is positioned. CHP has shutdown the truck lanes and the farthest right lane, while also diverting traffic onto the 5-North. Santa Clarita Sheriff Station has notified that the fire is relatively small, and we should have it contained. More updates soon.

Los Angeles County Assessor John Noguez today informed the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors that he intends to take a leave of absence from his position as County Assessor. His leave will commence upon the Board of Supervisors’ recommendation and the formal appointment of a Chief Deputy Assessor to run the Assessor’s Office during his absence.
