Children’s Hospital Los Angeles opened the doors of its new pediatric outpatient services center in Valencia in March, bringing the clinical expertise of its doctors, nurses and staff to area residents.

Valencia Teacher Placed On Leave Amid Controversy

khts_schools_chalkboardHart School District officials are investigating an allegation that a Valencia High School teacher electronically sent “inappropriate materials” to a former student who is now an adult. The teacher has been place on leave.

Without identifying the teacher, Valencia Principal Paul Priesz sent the following voice and e-mail message to parents Friday afternoon:

Burn Center Founder To Speak At Industry Luncheon

Caltrans Announces Closures For I-5/170 Carpool Lane Construction

khts_caltransCaltrans plans to close the lanes and ramps listed below as part of a $140 million improvement project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV or carpool) lanes and a direct HOV lane connector at the I-5/SR-170 interchange. Ramp closures will be staggered. Closures are subject to change. Detours will be signed.


Anti-Bullying Essay Could Bring Scholarship In A Snap
