SheilaRVeloz Women can ensure their families are well taken care of by making their own health a priority. During the month of May, the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center is offering a special cash price of $175 for digital screening mammograms.

In addition, the Center has grants and other programs available for patients who are uninsured or underinsured and need financial assistance for screenings.

Valencia Track Team Sets Four School Records At Mt. SAC Relays

khts_sports The Valencia track team broke four school records at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut over the weekend.

The boys 4x200 meter relay team won the high school seeded race and set the school record in 1 minute, 29.6 seconds.

The boys sprint medley relay team was third in its seeded race and set the school record in 3 minutes, 36.45 seconds.

Multiple Injuries In Highway 126 Crash

Several persons have been transported to the hospital following a multi-car pileup Sunday evening on Highway 126 near Val Verde.

According to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol, five vehicles were involved in the collision and four persons were ejected.

There were no fatalities at the scene of the crash, said CHP Officer Christian Cracraft, but the extent of the injuries is not yet known.

The crash was reported at 6:33 p.m. on eastbound Highway 126 at Chiquito Canyon Road.
