The Hart girls swim team won the annual Santa Clarita Relays at the Aquatics Center, but Saugus tested the Indians until the final race of the meet.
Hart won the 200 medley relay and narrowly beat Saugus, 69-65. Valencia was third with 59 points. Hart trailed Saugus by one point entering the 200 medley relay, the final race of the meet. Hart’s team of Megan Schultz, Christine Lusk, Asia Antoniuk and Tamara Santoyo won the race and the meet for the Indians.

The annual quarantine of all sport-harvested mussel species along the California coast begins May 1, 2012, announced Dr. Ron Chapman, director of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and state health officer.
