    Caltrans Announces Closures For Carpool Lane Construction

    Caltrans plans to close the lanes, ramps and connectors listed below as part of a $140 million improvement project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV or carpool) lanes and a direct HOV lane connector at the I-5/SR-170 interchange. Ramp closures will be staggered. Closures are subject to change. Detours will be signed.

Recently I had a lovely olive and fig spread from a wonderful little place in the Alexander Valley called Jimtown Store. I fell in love with this delicious sweet meets savory spread and decided to try my hand at making a batch.

    The Master's College Baseball Team Sweeps Cal State San Marcos

    khts_sportsThe Master’s College baseball team swept a doubleheader against Cal State San Marcos in a matchup of top-25 teams in the NAIA. The 24th-ranked Mustangs won the first game, 7-5, and the nightcap, 8-7.

    Bryan Lucas was 3-for-4 with a home run and drove in two runs in the first game.

    Lucas hit a home run and drove in five runs for The Master’s College in the second game against Cal State San Marcos, the No. 25 team in the NAIA.

    The Los Angeles Kings lost to the San Jose Sharks Thursday night, in a shootout, by a final score of 6-5. The Kings learned earlier in the day that they were guaranteed a playoff spot, and will wrap up their regular season Saturday.
