    Beef Sausage Recalled For Possible Listeria Contamination

    Recall-Sidebarouthside Market & BBQ, an Elgin, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 2,373 pounds of ready-to-eat beef sausage products that may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

    The following products are subject to recall:

    Valencia's Softball Ace No Hits Camarillo, Strikes Out 16

    khts_sportsValencia’s Carly Mortensen tossed a no-hitter against Camarillo in the first game of a doubleheader.

    She struck out 16 and Valencia beat Camarillo, 15-0. Wendy Cardinal drove in three runs and Rachel Ross-Smith had two RBIs.

    But Valencia lost the second game, 6-1. Mortensen struck out nine in five innings in the second game, but didn’t get much offensive support.

    Missy Fundora drove in Valencia’s only run in the second game.
