Dollhouse Productions founder and Santa Clarita resident Nancy Hanks is 61 years old and she’s the kid of the creative group that includes Sue Upperco, Rachel Arno, and Linda Simeone.
“They’re all just about Social Security age. Almost 65,” said Hanks.
The California Highway Patrol will be conducting a Start Smart Class on Monday, April 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Newhall Area Office. The class is free to attend and is open to newly licensed drivers AND their parents.
Free watercolor painting demonstrations will be offered by Juan “Magoo” Valencia on April 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at Barnes & Noble in Valencia. This is part of the Santa Clarita Artists’ Association’s (SCAA) goal of Making Visual Art Visible by providing free art instruction to residents through monthly demos.
