    Sand Canyon Accident Injures Motorcyclist

    An accident Friday night involving a motorcyclist snarled traffic on Sand Canyon Road.

    The accident occured in the 6pm hour Friday night on the southbound side of Sand Canyon, near In-N-Out Restaurant, and involved a motorcyclist and another vehicle. No word on the condition of the motorcyclist, but KHTS will post more details on this story as they become available.

    LA County Jail Authorities Extremely Concerned About Improper ICE Detainees.

    ICEThe Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) issued a press release stating they are “extremely concerned” about the possibility of individuals being held improperly on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers.

    In response, the LASD has initiated new protocols to further decrease this occurrence.

    Child Care Fraud Mastermind Convicted In L.A. County

    District_AttorneyFollowing three days of deliberations, jurors on Thursday convicted the mastermind behind a massive child care fraud ring that depleted the public treasury of more than $1.4 million.

    According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office this is believed to be the largest child care fraud case filed in the nation to date.
