    CNN's Stan Case Dies In Alabama Car Crash

    Stan Case, an anchor for CNN Radio, has died in a car crash in Birmingham, Alabama, a police spokesman said Wednesday.

    "Stan was a news anchor for CNN Radio and a mainstay of the network since he joined CNN in 1985," said Jim Walton, president of CNN Worldwide. "He was a fine journalist, a leader in our organization and, as anyone who had the privilege of knowing him will tell you, a great guy."

    COC Women's Soccer Team Eliminated From CCCAA Playoffs

    khts_sportsThe College of the Canyons women’s soccer team lost to San Bernardino Valley College, 2-1, and was eliminated from the California Community College Athletic  Associations playoffs.

    Brittani Stumbo scored the only goal for COC in the second half of the Southern California Regional. San Bernardino took a 2-0 lead in the second half after the two teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half.

    COC finishes with a 14-4-3 record.

    Craigslisting Leads To Arrest Of Saugus Car Burglary Suspects

    craigslistoneDetectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Burglary and Fraud team managed to track down two juveniles believed to be responsible for at least 16 vehicle burglaries in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita over the past two months.

    The detectives got the break they needed after they located some of the stolen property on the Craigslist resale website, Sheriff's Sgt. Jim Anderson said.

    Armed Felon Sought By Deputies, Public's Help Requested

    A former martial arts instructor is being sought on a felony warrant of embezzlement and possession of assault weapons and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department is asking for the public’s help in tracking him down.

    A $40,000 felony warrant has been issued for Dante Lusica, 65, a male Asian resident of Canyon Country, who should be considered armed and dangerous.
