October 29, 2011 - Coyotes Beat Kings 3-2

It was another intense game for the Kings, but an unfortunate loss as well. Anze Kopitar brought the game into overtime after bringing the scoreboard to a 2-2 tie with less than five minutes left in the Third Period. Overtime lasted four minutes before the Coyote's Daymond Langkow ended the game with a wristshot from eleven feet.

MTA Approves Safety Audit, Sheriff's Contract

MTAThe Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) Board of Directors unanimously passed a motion by Los Angeles County Supervisor and MTA Vice Chair Michael D. Antonovich establishing a “culture of safety” by ordering a full audit of MTA’s safety measures.

 

“The top priority for the MTA Board of Directors must include a vigilant oversight of the bus and rail system to ensure safety for our 38 million monthly passengers," said Antonovich.
