The hope was that by identifying these factors, that low back pain could be prevented in the future.

    Oak Garden Court, Winsom Circle, Oak Crossing Road, Oak Plaza Court and Flowers Court were impacted by the power outage.

    County Opens Cooling Centers To Deal With Soaring Heat

    khts_weather_100degreesThe Weather Service has forecast very high temperatures for the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys from Saturday, July 2 through Tuesday, July 5.

    To provide relief from the heat for the elderly and others who face heat-related health difficulties and stress, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will open cooling centers throughout the County.

    In the Santa Clarita Valley, there are two cooling centers:

    The claims challenged the city’s approval of the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital expansion project.

    UPDATED: Woman's Body Found In Westridge Apartment

    The woman found dead in the kitchen of her apartment on Silver Aspen Way in Westridge Thursday morning has been identified.

    Coroner spokesman Ed Winter said that the woman is Dori Lynn Cassaday, 49. Winter added that an autopsy is scheduled today to determine the cause of death.
