    Applicants Sought For Measure SA Citizen's Oversight Committee

    Bruno Andrade, a driver from Brazil, will make his Indy Lights Series debut this weekend in Toronto. He will be driving the No. 29 car for Bryan Herta Autosport in the Honda Indy Toronto race on Sunday.

    July 5 2011: Dodgers Get Shutout By Mets 6-0

    It was a night that the Dodgers will want to forget as they get shutout by the Mets Tuesday night and increase their losing streak to four games. The Dodgers had no problem getting on base but could not get the job done as they left 13 men on base during the game. While the Dodgers fell flat, the Met's batting was on fire as they scored 3 home runs in which two of them were hit by Mets Left Fielder Jason Bay. The final score was 6-0.     Redistricting Changes Surf and Turf

    photo7On the eve of Independence Day, the City of Santa Clarita viewed revised redistricting maps from the California Citizens Redistricting Commission that gave the city independence from Malibu -- at least in terms of the California State Senate District 17.

    “Malibu did not want to be lumped with us either. There’s no community of interest there,” said Santa Clarita Mayor Marsha McLean.
