Senate Passes Runner's Bill To Require Sex Offenders To Give Up Social Networking Addresses

RunnerSharon1Convicted sex offenders may soon have to give their Facebook, MySpace and any other social network accounts to law enforcement officials along with their residential address each year.


The California Senate today passed legislation to make this a requirement with a vote of 32-2 in favor.

Boxer Urges Debt Ceiling Increase, Withholding Congressional Pay Until Budget Settled

According to a statement issued by the Senator, the United States reached its debt ceiling last month and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner indicated that he can delay a government default until August 2.

Valencia Freshman Glen Lee Misses Cut For CIF State Golf Championship

khts_sportsValencia freshman Glen Lee shot a 7-over par, 79, at the Brookside Golf Club and missed the cut for the CIF State Championship.

Lee was the only golfer from the Santa Clarita Valley in the CIF SCGA Tournament in Pasadena. He finished in a tie for 78th place.

It was a great hitting performance as the Dodgers defeat the Rockies Tuesday night and increase their winning streak to 3 in a row. Matt Kemp opened up the scoring with a home run in the 1st inning. At the top of the 3rd inning, the Rockies scored a run to put them within 1 run of the Dodgers. Matt Kemp then singles a ground ball which Jamey Carroll and Casey Blake scores at the bottom of the 3rd inning. Aaron Miles hits a double in which Jerry Sands scores at the bottom of the 4th inning.
