Taste Of The Town Profits Help Center Deal With Budget Woes

TOTTbandIt was a beautiful afternoon of glorious food and drink at Child & Family Center’s Taste of the Town – and the annual fundraiser generated much-needed proceeds for the local non-profit that provides mental health services to thousands of children and adults yearly in the Santa Clarita Valley.


May 21, 2011 Dodger Lose To White Sox 9-2

Saturday, the Dodgers were in Chicago for game two of a three game interleague series against the White Sox. L.A. scored runs in the third and sixth innings. The Whites Sox scored a run in the bottom of the first inning then went on to score six runs in the fourth with two additional runs scored in the seventh inning handing the Dodgers a 9 to2 loss.

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 6-4. The Dodgers took an early 2-0 lead in the 1st Inning, but quickly gave up 3-runs in the bottom of the 2nd Inning to go down 3-2. Russ Mitchell hit a solo homerun in the Top of the 9th to tie the game and force extra innings. The Dodgers scored 3 runs in the Top of the 10th and held onto the lead to win the game. The Dodgers are undefeated during extra innings this season.
