The City of Santa Clarita is hosting a community workshop on Wednesday, May 18 to gather community feedback on proposed improvements to the McBean Regional Transit Center (MRTC) Park-and-Ride.
The workshop will be held in the Century Room, Suite 150, at City Hall from 7-9 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The Angeles National Forest Fire Lookout Association is recruiting volunteers to staff the last remaining fire lookout on the Angeles for the 2011 season. Lookout volunteers help protect the forest and local mountain communities against the threat of fire. Their coverage extends to the communities along and outside of the forestry boundary.
