The Master’s College runner Anthony Pizzo finished fourth in the 5,000 meters in the Ben Brown Invitational at Cal State Fullerton over the weekend and qualified for the NAIA National Championships.
The Canyon High graduate finished in 14 minutes, 18.56 seconds, a school record. It was the fastest time in the 5,000 recorded by a runner in the NAIA this year.
Ammar Moussa, a senior at Arcadia High School, won the 5,000-meter race.
