The Valencia boys basketball team is home for the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 1AA playoffs tonight. The 12^th-seeded Vikings will play Etiwanda, the fourth-seeded team in the playoffs.

Valencia is coming off a decisive 77-70 win over fifth-seeded Murrieta Valley. Lonnie Jackson scored 36 points and set the Valencia school record for most points in a playoff game.

At 4:30 p.m., a disturbance on a Greyhound bus led to congestion near the corner of Valencia Boulevard and The Old Road.

According to Lt. Mark Hershey, the incident occurred when two men began arguing on the Greyhound bus. Initial reports indicated that one man had a gun, but after search of both suspects and the bus, no guns were found. Don Clark,who was on parole and was involved in the bus altercation, was arrested.
