Two players from the Valencia football team will continue their football careers in college.

Steven Manfro, the record-breaking running back for the Vikings, will sign with UCLA today.

Trevor Smyth decided to continue his football career with the US Naval Academy.

After 3 scoreless periods and a scoreless sudden death overtime the game went to a dramatic, crowd pleasing shootout. Coming into this game the Kings were a perfect 5-0 in shootouts. In the second round the Wild's Pierre Marc Bouchard scored and the Kings couldn't answer in kind. Final score: Los Angeles Kings-0, Minnesota Wild-1

Chick-fil-A is teaming with local Christian rock band Divine Attraction to help the Santa Clarita Valley Emergency Winter Shelter during this busy season.  

The shelter, located on Drayton Street in Saugus, averages 50 clients per night and is currently in need of several items.

City's Karate Team Chops The Competition

Cilantro And Frozen Okra Recalled

khts_recallsSabor Farms, LLC. of Salinas, CA is recalling fresh cilantro because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The cilantro was on store shelves in multiple states beginning January 14 and likely sold or removed from sale before January 28, 2011. There have been no illnesses reported.

UPDATED: Gas Line Break In Canyon Country

Stillmore Street in Canyon Country was closed for more than two hours Tuesday afternoon due to a gas line break. Gas Company officials fixed the problem, caused by a maintenance worker that severed a pipe and restored service at approximately 4 p.m.
