Health And Beauty Tips From Local Experts

Looking to add to its successful group of newsletters geared toward local interests, KHTS is launching a weekly health and beauty newsletter featuring articles written by experts in their field.  

“We’ve had so much success with our daily e-mails that now we’re able to launch specialized newsletters such as our Emergency Alerts, Top Things To Do and Hometown Recipes,” said station co-owner Carl Goldman.  

COC Linebacker Justin Cudworth Leads Football Recruits

khts_sportsTen players from the College of the Canyons football team will continue their careers at four-year schools in the fall.

Linebacker Justin Cudworth leads the list of COC football players. He will be playing at Eastern Michigan in the fall.

Offensive lineman Steven Haunga is headed to Arkansas State. Fellow offensive lineman Randy Horton will play at Nevada.

It’s a light day of high school soccer in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Ten COC Football Players Sign With Four-Year Schools

February 2, 2011 Kings Defeat Oilers 3-1

Wednesday, the Los Angeles Kings played the Edmonton Oilers in game two of their ten consecutive road games. The Kings and Oilers were scoreless at the end of the first period. Magnus Paajarvi put the Oilers on the board in the second period. The Kings answered back with two power-play goals by Ryan Smith and Drew Doughty. In the third, Jack Johnson Knocked another goal in for the Kings and L.A. went on to win - defeating the Oilers 3 to 1.
