Amid the City Council’s approval of an agenda that included incorporating two large resource collections into the forthcoming Santa Clarita Public Library and relaxing on-time performance standards for the transit system, a two-page letter on the issue of illegal immigration dominated Tuesday’s meeting.  

Several fee-free days are scheduled this year at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees, starting with the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr., birthday weekend.

Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
