    Smyth Sworn In For Third And Final Assembly Term

    cameronsmythAssemblyman Cameron Smyth was sworn in for his third term in the State Assembly this morning.  With his family by his side, Smyth took the oath of office for the final time in the Assembly.  Term limits will require Smyth, who has served the 38th Assembly District since 2006, to leave the Assembly in 2012.

     

    More On One Valley One Vision At Tuesday’s Planning Commission Meeting

    Valencia Football Team Ends CIF Playoff Run In Semifinals

    khts_sportsThe Valencia football team saw its playoff run end against Oaks Christian, 42-33, in the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section Northern Division playoffs.

    The game was tied, 14-14, at halftime, but Oaks Christian scored three touchdowns in the first five minutes of the third quarter to take a 34-14 lead.
