    Friday Evening Traffic Collision Kills One

    khts_ambulanceAt approxomiately 6:12 p.m. on Friday, a male adult driver in a Ford Escort traveling northbound on Hillsborough Parkway collided with a Toyota Sienna minivan going eastbound on Decoro Drive.

    He was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia where he died from his injuries.

    Advanced Bionics Announces Voluntary Recall Of Hearing Implant

    khts_recallsAdvanced Bionics, the Valencia-based company specializing in advanced hearing systems, is recalling its HiRes 90K cochlear implant device after two instances of recipients complaining of overly loud sounds or shocking senstations.

    The move is voluntary, and the company has already informed the Food and Drug Administration.
