My Dad was (and still is) an avid duck hunter, so I grew up around hunting dogs.  At an early age, I learned the two fundamental “Wet Dog” rules of thumb.  First - the more a wet dog likes you, the closer it gets to you before shaking off the water.  Second - you can’t outrun a wet dog.  And just last week, I discovered a third rule of thumb - the bigger the mammal, the slower the shake.

Public Welcome To Discuss Potential Historical Spots In Newhall

Fundraiser Aims To Stomp Out Neurological Disorder

Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder affecting more than 30,000 men, women and children in North America. It is the third most common movement disorder after Parkinson’s disease and tremor.  

No. 4 The Master's College Women's Soccer Team Shuts Out Westmont In OT

khts_sportsThe Master’s College women’s soccer team needed overtime to beat Westmont in the quarterfinals of the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament.

Emily Bruton scored the only goal of the game in overtime as The Master’s College, the fourth-ranked team in the NAIA, beat Westmont, 1-0.

Amanda Diamond made three saves in goal and recorded her 10th shutout of the season.
