    Upcoming Charity Jaunt Is A Beast

    For the fourth year, the group is hosting an event on a challenging course, known as “The Beast,” at Whitney Canyon Park.

    Valencia Moves Into CIF Football Semis; Canyon Eliminated

    khts_sportsThe Valencia football team defeated its playoff nemesis in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Northern Division playoffs.

    Valencia decisively beat Moorpark, 40-21, on a monster night from running back Steven Manfro.

    Manfro gained 346 yards and scored a touchdown for Valencia, which finally beat Moorpark in the playoffs for the first time in three years. Moorpark eliminated Valencia from the playoffs the past two years.

    Emergency Winter Shelter To Host Open House Nov. 30

    When I was growing up my sister and I would make ourselves a mug full of steaming Hershey’s Cocoa on cold rainy days. The aroma of the hot cocoa still brings back fond memories of my childhood. I always have Hershey’s Cocoa in our pantry. I use it to make cakes, frostings and some really delicious hot cocoa. My children have grown up with this old fashioned treat and now make it for themselves

    Compassionate Friends To Hold Annual Candle Lighting December 12

    Public Invited To Open Space Dedication December 9
