Happy Days Company Will Dedicate Run To Bosley

theaterartCabrillo Music Theatre, the Ovation Award-winning resident musical production company of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, is proud to announce that all performances of “Happy Days, A New Musical” will be dedicated to the memory of Tom Bosley, who portrayed the iconic patriarch “Mr. C” in the television show that inspired their current production.

KHTS Honored For Support Of Arts

Picture_-_Art_Award_10-21-10The City of Santa Clarita’s Arts Commission gave out kudos for arts supporters at its Thursday night meeting and KHTS AM1220 received this month's Arts Recognition Award, which spotlights organizations for their efforts in supporting the arts in Santa Clarita.

KHTS was specifically recognized for the weekly one-hour program, “Thursday Matinee,” hosted by Paul Strickland, which focusing on the arts in Santa Clarita.

Stab Wounds Lead To Robbery Suspect's Arrest

khts_crimeA robbery suspect is nursing his wounds behind bars today after briefly eluding capture Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly before 2 p.m., deputies responded to a call at the Mobil gas station in the 26900 block of Seco Canyon Road in Saugus only to find that it wasn’t the gas station being robbed, but a patron of the on-site store.

Barking Brings Out Bomb Squad

dog_barking2There might have been a better – or at least a more cost-effective – way for a Canyon Country man to tell his neighbor that his dog barking was irritating.

Students at Cedarcreek Elementary School and commuters in the normally quiet North Oaks neighborhood around Four Oaks Street were greeted by a platoon of black and white patrol cars, at least one of them bearing detectives from the sheriff’s Arson and Explosive bureau.

UPDATED: Plane Crash In Agua Dulce

Coroner's officials have confirmed that three people were killed in the crash of a single engine Cirrus SR22 plane Thursday afternoon.

The plane that hit the side of a barn on Canyon Quail Trail in Agua Dulce. Three horses in the barn’s corral also perished.
