    Chance Of Thunderstorms In Santa Clarita

    raindropsAccording to the National Weather Service, Santa Clarita could experience thunderstorms tonight through Saturday.  

    Thunderstorms have the potential to produce gusty winds along with lightning, and the service advises drivers to take caution while on the road.  

    Bras For A Cause Takes On Breast Cancer

    khts_inthecommunity2October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and one Santa Clarita organization is setting sail to combat the disease.  

    On October 3, Soroptomist International of the Santa Clarita Valley will hold its 7th Annual “Bras for a Cause – Ports O’Call” at the Oaks Grille-Tournament Players Club in Valencia.  

    Visitor Use Survey In Angeles National Forest Begins Friday

    Forest Service employees want to know how you feel about your visit to Angeles National Forest.

    As part of the National Visitor Use Monitoring program, a survey will begin October 1 in many areas of Angeles National Forest. Exit interviews with Forest visitors will be conducted to solicit honest feedback on the service and facilities provided during their visit.

    Bar Association To Honor Justice Community At Annual Luncheon

    scales_of_justiceThe Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association will host its Sixth Annual Law Appreciation Day with a lunchon at noon, Friday, October 1 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia.

    The annual luncheon, which is the largest event held by the SCV Bar Association each year, is a celebration of those dedicated to the creation, enforcement and practice of the law.

    Music To Soothe At Wild Beast Concert Series
