As part of a $161 million improvement project to construct carpool lanes, the California Department of Transportation will close the following lanes,
ramps, and connectors of the Antelope Valley Freeway and the Golden State Freeway.
Antelope Valley Freeway closures:
August 1 through Friday August 6
Up to two lanes of the Southbound SR-14 Connector to Southbound I-5

With school starting in just a matter of weeks, the Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) is preparing to help students stay healthy by hosting a free back-to-school immunization event from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on August 11 at the NEVHC Santa Clarita Health Center, located at 18533 Soledad Canyon Rd.
